Xiaomi Redmi S2 has now been certified by TENAA. The certification reveals the key specifications of the upcoming budget Redmi phone. It features an 18:9 screen display, it has a model of M1803E6E, it is powered by Snapdragon 625, it has a dual rear camera and it runs on Android Oreo. Last week, XDA-developers got the information about the phone from the firmware files revealing the Redmi S2 launch in China. The firmware revealed that the Redmi S2 will come with a 5-megapixel front camera, however, the TENAA certification site reveals a 16MP front camera.

From the certification, Redmi S2 has a unibody design with antennas on the top and bottom parts of the phone and it has a well-mounted fingerprint sensor on the back. Face unlock feature is also available in the phone. It has a 5.99-inch HD+(1440 x 720 pixels) 18:9, 2.5D curved glass display.
The Redmi S2 is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It has a dual rear camera with SONY IMX486/Omni Vision OV12A10 sensor 12MP primary camera with LED flash, PDAF, EIS and a 5MP secondary camera with Samsung S5K5E8 sensor. There might be a 16MP front camera.
Packed with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable to 128GB with MicroSD. The S2 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it comes with a Hybrid Dual SIM(Nano + Nano/MicroSD) with MIUI 9 on top. Connectivity features include Blurtooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n(2.4GHz/5GHz), and 4G VoLTE. This phone will also come with a 3000mAH battery.
