The Sony Xperia XA2 is one of Sony’s flagship that was launched in January 2018. This device is powered by Snapdragon 630 Octa-core processor and it has a 5.20-inch touchscreen display. Sony Xperia XA2 runs on Android 8.0 and it comes with 3 GB RAM.

Design and Display

Sony Xperia XA2 is 142 x 70 x 9.7 mm in dimension and weighs 171 g. It’s aluminium frame and plastic back makes it easy to hold. It is available in Silver, Black, Blue and Pink colors. This devices comes with a 5.20-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and 16:9 aspect ratio (-424 ppi density) which makes it have great screen size. The device’s screen has Multitouch which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Hardware and Software

Xperia XA2 is powered by Qualcomm SDM630 Snapdragon 630, Octa-core 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Adreno 508 GPU for graphics. Xperia XA2 has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB using the MicroSD slot. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

Camera and Battery

This device sports a 23 MP (ƒ/2.0, 24mm, 1/2.3″) front camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. For selfies, there is an 8MP (ƒ/2.4, 1/4″) front camera. Other features includes Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection. HDR, panaroma etc. Video features includes [email protected], [email protected], stereo sound rec. , HDR etc. It is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 3300 mAH battery.

Connectivity and Network

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v5.0, A2DP, aptX HD, LE, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, FM radio, USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector: USB Host.
